Yesterday, we learnt how to do many things with blogs. We learnt how to insert an image and a text and how to select the image or part of the text to link them to a web page for more information. ç

Then, we learnt how to insert a video. Remember that you have to copy the embed code of the video in youtube. You get it when you click on compartir and then insertar. Copy that code in the HTML section,

We also learnt how to change the image of your blog, configuration, design and so on and so forth. If you have any questions regarding the last session do not hesitate in sending me an email and I will solve your doubt.

Remember that you can access your blog getting into blogger and completing the user name and the password that is the same as your gmail account.

I hope you are enjoying the course and please, pass the word on how blogs can improve your teaching. Remember that when you finish the course you will have enough level to teach other teachers who do not know about them.

BLOGS AND WEB 20 TOOLS FOR THE ENGLISH CLASS

 Sometimes with technology we may feel like the ancient monks when they started to use books.

 

La metodología de enseñanza de la lengua inglesa debe aprovechar las oportunidades que nos ofrecen las TIC para dotar al profesorado con herramientas que dinamicen el aula y logren motivar al alumnado hacia un aprendizaje práctico y participativo.

El uso del blog de aula sirve como marco de referencia para alojar vídeos, audios, textos que pueden ser utilizados dentro y fuera del aula generando infinitas posibilidades de aplicación didáctica para el aprendizaje de otro idioma. Es además muy bien aceptado por los alumnos por generar recursos atractivos y que fomentan la dinamización de las clases de idiomas.

Este curso tiene como objetivo enseñar a crear un blog de aula y alojar en él diferentes aplicaciones 2.0  para su uso directo con los alumnos. El curso comienza el 18 de octubre, el plazo de inscripción termina el 15 de octubre y se realizará en el CFIE de Valladolid.
